Beef Stir Fry - Fast and super tender
This is our take on very easy and super delicious Beef Stir Fry, this can be done in so many variations so feel free to play with ingredients, cut of beef etc.

- 250 g - 0.5 lbs hanger steak
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp shaoxing cooking wine
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- ½ tbsp baking soda
- 1 broccoli broken into florets
- white onion sliced
- ½ red bell pepper
- ½ green bell pepper
- 2 cloves garlic sliced
- 1 tsp ginger sliced
- peanut oil
- 1 pinch citron peppercorn crushed
Sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp ketchup manis
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp shaoxing cooking wine
cut the hanger stake in an angle and against the grain to maintain tenderness and fry fast
transfer it to a bowl and add the soy sauce
add the shaoxing cooking wine
add the sesame oil
add the corn starch
add the baking soda
using your hands, massage the meat and then put it in the fridge for 1 hour
Vegetable preparation
cut the red and green bell peppers in slices
split the spring onion in half, take the green part and chop up finely for garnish, then take the white part and cut it into small pieces
slice the white onion
Cooking the stir fry
in a screaming hot wok add peanut oil
add the beef and stir it until it browns up a little bit
transfer the beef into a bowl
add a little bit of peanut oil in the wok
add the onions
add the red and green peppers
add one portion of the broccoli florets
stir fry until the onion softens up
add the white part of the spring onion
add the ginger paste
add the garlic
add the shaoxing cooking wine
add the ketchup manis
add the soy and oyster sauce
add the citron peppercorn
add the beef into the wok and let it cook for 3-4 minutes
ready to serve
