Ultimate Skirt Steak Carne Asada: Flavour-Packed Grilled Steak Recipe

Marinade
- ¼ L soy sauce
- 125 ml olive oil
- 1½ tbsp chili oil
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
- 1 tbsp chili flakes
- 1 tbsp hot paprika
- a big pinch of freshly cracked black pepper
- a good pinch of sea salt
- juice of 2 limes
Marinade
add ¼ L of soy sauce
add 125 ml olive oil
add 1½ tbsp of chili oil
add 2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar
add 1 tbsp of Dijon mustard
add 1 tbsp of dried oregano
add 1 tbsp of garlic powder
add 2 tbsp of freshly chopped parsley
add 1 tbsp of chili flakes
add a big pinch of freshly cracked black pepper
add 1 tbsp of hot paprika
add a good pinch of sea salt
give it a good whisk
add the juice of 2 limes
pour the mix into a big ziplock bag and add the meat in it
get as much of the air out as you can and then close it
give it a good massage
leave it in the fridge for a minimum of 1 hour
Grilling
fire up our gas grill and put all five burners on full
add a little bit of oil
place the meat with the thickest pieces first and then the two thin ones, it will take maximum a minute per side
flip it over and flip it again so you avoid overcooking one side
once ready take them out and onto a tray
cover the meat up and let it rest for 10 minutes before you cut into them.
cut against the grain.
ready to serve in tacos or you can serve it just next to some patatas bravas
