Pickled Red Onions
This is the one condiment you WANT to have for your smash burgers, taco's or sandwiches. Easy to make and super tasty.

- ⅕ dL - 5 fl oz water
- ⅕ dL - 5 fl oz white distilled vinegar
- 2 tbsp sea salt
- 2 tbsp red pepper corn
- 1 chilli pepper diced
- 2 Laurel leaves
cut the red onion in julienne style
place in a bowl a colander and transfer the onions in it
pour over boiling water and let them rest for 3 minutes
in a pot add the water and the white distilled vinegar
add the sea salt
add the red pepper corn
take the pot to the stove and bring it to a boil
drain the onions
in a mason jar add the drained onions
add the chilli pepper
add the laurel leaves
add the pickling liquid brine to the mason jar and close it immediately
let it cooldown and then put it in the fridge for 24 hours
ready to serve
