- 150 g - 5 oz Butter
- 1 Kg / 2.2 lbs Spinach
- 2 cloves minced Garlic
- 75 g - 2.5 oz flour all-purpose
- 0.5 L - 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- ⅕ tbsp Nutmeg
- 200 g - 7 oz grated Parmesan
in a large pot add the butter and let it melt
add the spinach close the lid and let it steam for 2-3 minutes
add the garlic
add the flour, mix it in well and let it cook for 2 minutes while steering
add the heavy cream
add the salt and black pepper
add the nutmeg
let it cook until the sauce thickens up
add the grated parmesan
ready to serve
