If you love Ceviche but find it daunting to get started, this is your recipe! Later on we will show you various other recipes for Ceviche but this one is our go-to basic recipe that never fails.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ red onion julienne cut
  • ½ chilli pepper finely chopped
  • ½ bunch cilantro finely chopped
  • 250 g Sea Bream or other white fish
  • 3 limes juiced
  • 1-2 tbsp Aji Amarillo paste
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • red peppercorn crushed

Instructions
 

  • finely cut half red onion and place it in a bowl filled with water and ice
  • finely dice the chillies and place it in a small bowl
  • finely chop the cilantro
  • cut in half horizontally the Sea Bream and then cut it in bite size chunks
  • place the cut fish in the fridge

Sauce

  • in a bowl take the limes and extract the juice
  • add the chopped chillies
  • add the Aji Amarillo paste
  • add the salt & black pepper
  • add the chopped cilantro
  • mix it all in with a spoon
  • take the fish out of the fridge and add it in the bowl with the sauce
  • mix it all so everything gets covered
  • place it in the fridge for 10-15 minutes
  • ready to serve

Notes

Fish has parasites so you have to freeze it overnight to avoid getting ill
