BBQ Pasta
This is one of our go-to staple recipes, combine smoked tomato sauce with leftover BBQ pork meat and you have a winner. You can cook up a super tasty dinner in no time just using leftovers and canned tomatoes, what's not to love.

Ingredients
- 5 shallots minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves of garlic minced
- ½ L smoked tomato sauce
- 1.2 L chopped tomatoes
- ½ kg pork belly burnt ends or pulled pork or whatever you prefer
- 2 tbsp oregano
- sea salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Sauce
- in a pot add the olive oil
- sauté the minced shallots until translucent
- add the minced garlic
- add the smoked tomato sauce
- add the chopped tomatoes
- bring it to shimmer
- add the pork belly burnt ends and stir it
- add 1 tbsp of sea salt
- add ½ tbsp black pepper
- add the oregano and stir it
Pasta
- in a big pot filled with boiling salted water add the pasta
- make sure to save some of the water once the pasta is ready
- in a big hot pan add half the sauce
- add some of the pasta water so the sauce sticks to the pasta
- let it boil for a while
- add the pasta in the pan and mix it all together
- ready to serve
