Creamy Pasta with Sage and a surprise

Ingredients
  

  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 200 ml white wine
  • 1 L heavy cream
  • sea salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 10 fresh sage leaves
  • 4 tbsp grated parmesan
  • 3 prosciutto slices

Instructions
 

  • in a cold pan running at low temperature add the olive oil and the onions to soften up slowly
  • create a hole in the middle of the pan and add the finely minced garlic
  • deglaze the pan by adding the white wine and let the alcohol evaporate
  • add the heavy cream
  • add a little bit of salt and pepper
  • add the nutmeg
  • add the fresh sage
  • let it simmer
  • add the parmesan
  • boil the pasta
  • in a pan add some olive oil
  • add the prosciutto until it gets crispy
  • cut the crispy prosciutto
  • add the pasta in the pot with the sauce
  • serve the pasta on the plate, add a little bit of parmesan cheese and the prosciutto
