  • 1 Immersion Blender
  • 1 big pot

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg Habanero chilies
  • 1 kg sweet red peppers
  • 700 ml vinegar
  • 700 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp sea salt

Instructions
 

  • cut off the top from the red peppers, split them down in the middle, remove the seeds and also the little white stem in the middle
  • chop them up in medium size pieces
  • place them into the pot
  • for the chilies put on a pair of gloves
  • cut them down in the middle, remove all the seeds and into the pot
  • add the vinegar
  • add the sugar
  • start the stove on medium heat to bring it to a boil and then add the sea salt
  • bring it up to a boil and then let it simmer until the peppers they are super soft
  • switch it off and let it cool down just a little bit
  • use your immersion blender but don't make it totally smooth you want to have some texture left in
  • pour the jam into your sanitized jars and let it cool down
  • ready to serve on toast or even pair it with cheeses
