- 2 cedar wood
- 1 Gas Grill
Ingredients
- 1.5 kg salmon
- olive oil
- dill
- lemon slices
- salt & pepper
Instructions
Cedar Wood preparation
- In a oven pan soak the planks in water
- add some Jack Daniels whiskey and let them soak for a minimum 2 to 3 hours
Fish preparation
- sprinkle a little bit of olive oil and with a brush spread it around
- add salt but don't overdo it
- add some freshly cracked pepper
- place your cedar wood in your cold gas grill, add some salt on the wood, you want to slowly warm up otherwise the wood will burn
- place the salmon on the cedar wood
- add dill to the top of the salmon
- add some lemon slices
Grilling the Salmon
- fire up the gas grill on medium heat , on all five burners
- close the lid and check in on it after 20 minutes
- the salmon will be ready once the core temperature reaches 62° C - 144° F
- ready to serve
