Ingredients
- 150 g - 5 oz Butter
- 1 Kg / 2.2 lbs Spinach
- 2 cloves minced Garlic
- 75 g - 2.5 oz flour all-purpose
- 0.5 L - 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- ⅕ tbsp Nutmeg
- 200 g - 7 oz grated Parmesan
Instructions
- in a large pot add the butter and let it melt
- add the spinach close the lid and let it steam for 2-3 minutes
- add the garlic
- add the flour, mix it in well and let it cook for 2 minutes while steering
- add the heavy cream
- add the salt and black pepper
- add the nutmeg
- let it cook until the sauce thickens up
- add the grated parmesan
- ready to serve
